High quality bait and Insect Growth Regulator in one kit

Testimony from a pleased user of Invict and Gentrol:

" I just wanted to let you guys know how impressed I am with this kit and your company. I ordered the kit on a Wednesday and it was delivered Friday, which was fantastic. The kit says it takes about 5 days to see results, but I saw results almost immediately. Our infestation was pretty bad, and none of the store-bought products we have used (which is just about all of them) gave us any significant change. As I put the Invict Gold bait down, the roaches were instantly drawn to it and feeding from it, by the time I finished putting it down, there were already roaches dead and dying on the side of the house I started on. When I woke up in the morning, there were dead roaches everywhere and no where near the amount I was used to seeing around the house. The bugs that were still alive already look as descibed in the Gentrol packaging as well. I am very excited to see the results after 10 days, because I firmly believe the infestation will be nearly, if not completely eradicated. I highly recommend this product and your website to anyone with any kind of pest problem. If I ever encounter any other type of pest problem, you guys will be the first and only place I will shop. Thank you so very much, and if theres anything else I can write or even be a reference for, I would be more than happy to do it!"
Sincerely,
Lynn S.

The German cockroach is one of the most common roaches found in apartment houses, restaurants, and hotels. German cockroaches (eggs included), are "brought in", usually on man's belongings, luggage, boxes or packages. All it takes, is bringing in one egg capsule, six months later you do have an infestation.

German Cockroach Appearance:

Adults are 1/2 inch- 5/8 inch long, light to medium brown with 2 dark distinctive stripes behind the head. The young (nymphs) are wingless, smaller and much darker in color, with a light stripe on their backs.

German Roach Diet:

Will eat anything, will stay close to food and water source.

Habits and Biology of German Cockroaches:

Females produce one egg capsule every 3-4 weeks. Each capsule contains 25-45 eggs. The female will carry the egg capsule with her until it is ready to hatch. The young(nymphs) will be able to breed in as little as 36 days. Adult German roaches can live up to one year These roaches are mostly active at night .

If they are seen during the day, it is usually because their hiding places are overcrowded due to a large population or there is a shortage of food and water supply.

Any crack or crevice located near a source of food and/or water is prime harborage, and they spend about 75% of their time in such harborages.
First instar nymphs require a crack of about 1/32" whereas, adults require a crack of about 3/16" in width.

Infestations are generally found in kitchens and bathrooms, but can inhabit other areas if there is a heavy population or you have run them into each other with the repellent effect of insecticides.

How To Get Rid Of German Roaches:

It is one of the most challenging to manage and eliminate.
To accurately and completely eliminate these roaches you need to attack them from several tools using baits, dusts, insect growth regulators(IGR) and roach pheromone traps.

They have the most eggs produced, shortest development cycle, best survival rate of the young, and the most adaptive feeding habits of most of the roaches. Because of this "high reproductive potential" they have a greater ability to develop resistance against insecticides.

The technology of the pest control market has switched to an integrated pest management like baiting ,dusting, and the use of insect growth regulators and pheromone traps against the German roach, as opposed to just using a residual or contact insecticide either in an aerosol form or liquid form.

German Roach Control in Restaurants

However in restaurants, you may have to still spray with a residual insecticide such as :
Orthene PCO instead of baits.
We encourage you to call us for recommendations, in that we have had a long history of helping restaurants solve their problem, but needs to be handled on a individual basis.

Another product that is recommended for restaurants is:
Eaton's Boric Acid Powder.
A mop rinse insecticide that leaves an odorless, invisible residue which cockroaches cannot detect.

The products we recommend have not had a resistant problem.

Recommended Products: Baits, Aerosols, Insect Growth Regulators(IGR'S) and Roach Traps for Residential Use

1. COCKROACH BAITS: Vendetta Roach Bait Gel, Invict Gold Cockroach Bait Gel, Advion Roach Bait, Avert Dry Flowable Bait, Maxforce Roach Bait Gel, and Maxforce Roach Bait Stations

  • Recommended German roach baits are

vendetta roach baitVendetta Roach Bait Gel and invict gold roach baitInvict Gold Cockroach Bait Gel have both proven to be very effective on German Roaches.

Invict Gold and Vendetta both have roach bait gel acceptance is superior to other professional roach baits on the market and have seen some very quick results.

Vendetta Roach Bait Gel and InVict Gold Cockroach Gel are formulated for rapid control of roaches. The bait matrix in Invict contains 11 attractants to combat bait aversion and maximize control. Vendetta roach bait attracts both bait-averse and non-averse cockroaches. Bait rotation with different formulation types is important to combat bait aversion and poor control results.

  • invict roach kit
    German Roach Kit (Invict)

  • Avert Dry Flowable Cockroach Bait
Remains effective for more than one year after initial treatment.
The dry formula reaches void areas that gels and bait stations cannot reach.

Avert Dry Flowable Bait Placements:

  • Avert Dry Flowable is intended for application with the provided crack and crevice bait extension tube. Apply insecticide directly into cracks and crevices.
  • Apply lightly and uniformly to infested areas.
  • Pay particular attention to cracks and crevices and hidden surfaces around sinks and storage areas, behind baseboards, around doors, and windows, behind cabinets, stoves, and behind refrigerators.
  • For compete application instructions, please read : Avert Dry Flowable Product Label.

We also carry the old standby bait Maxforce Roach Bait Gel

  • Maxforce Roach Bait Gel has also been proven very effective against the German Roach.

    We carry
Maxforce FC Magnum Roach Bait Gel
    -Fipronil.

The active ingredient in Maxforce FC Magnum, Fipronil, provides a unique mode of action that works through both ingestion and contact, knocking down roaches and ants that eat or simply touch the bait. Either way, one contaminated roach or ant kills many others where they live and breed. The Domino Effect® still achieves population control, but with faster visible results.

The application is very simple and easy, coming in a syring. The gel formulation enables you to place the material into cracks and crevices and harbouring places.

  • Typical harbor aging areas for German Roaches and places for treatment of Roach Bait Gels(Invict, Advion, and Maxforce):

Before treating any areas it is best to first take a flashlight and check these types of areas for nesting sites. You will be looking for their excrement droppings(looks like black pepper).
You may also want to use a aerosol with pryethrin like   CB-80 , sprayed to "flush-out" roaches out of these harbouring places .
These pyrethin aerosols will kill on contact, and serve you to find out where the German Cockroaches are nesting.
Once you have determined where the roaches are nesting, it may be easier to know where to apply the roach gel baits.

Invict Gold , Maxforce, or Advion Bait Placements:

    • Behind kitchen cabinets and counter tops.
    • Behind anything hanging on the wall, such as pictures, clocks, posters, etc.
    • Behind, next to, and under the stove.
    • In the corners up under the sink and other cabinets.
    • In stored paper bags and boxes.
    • Around pipes, cords, and cables that come out of the wall.
    • Behind and under bathroom fixtures.
    • Behind the medicine cabinet and vanity.
    • In any cracks or crevices around shelves or wood trim.

Roaches are cannibalistic and will eat other dead or dying roaches.
The roaches are not social insects like ants and termites, they do not carry the bait back to feed the young.
When baiting is important to re- bait in the areas where the the roaches are taking the bait. Paying attention to this will speed up the treatment.

    • Advion Arena Roach Bait and or Maxforce Roach Bait Stations are both useful as a roach bait. The use of the roach stations are slower acting than the gel forms, but will last for several months without drying out.
Advion Arena Roach Bait is the newest on the market with great results.

    2. Insect Growth Regulators for Cockroaches: Gentrol

Using insect growth regulators like Gentrol IGR'S break the roach growth cycle. Gentrol Point Source is easy to use.
Gentrol IGR'S attacks the male nymph roach(mutating reproductive abilities) and causes the pregnant female to consume the bait when she would normally not want to consume food during part of her pregnancy.

We carry Gentrol in the point source form,
    Gentrol liquid form,and aerosol forms.

    Cockroach Traps

Another important tool, would be the use of roach traps with a pheromone to lure them inside the trap:Victor Pheromone Roach Trap is and excellent roach trap.
These traps are excellent for monitoring tools as well.

    4.  Other Aerosols and "Bombs" to Kill Cockroaches

    • Use a residual insecticide aerosol like
D-Force HPX Aerosol if you need a slightly quicker start before killing the entire roach population with Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel.
However the Invict Roach Bait is Gel is so effective ,many find they don't need to use such an aerosol.
When using this residual insecticide (D-Force HPX Aerosol), don't place the bait out yet, because it would contaminate it.....wait about 10 days.
      D-Force contains Deltamethrin.

      1. First we recommend using D-Force HPX Aerosol in all the cracks and crevices as well as behind cabinets, under refrigerators, behind stoves, ovens and dishwashers, if needed for the "initial kill", if needed.
At this point you can use insect growth inhibitors such as the Gentrol Aerosol, Gentrol Liquid or Gentrol Point Sources, treating area and the cracks and crevices without contamination.
      2. Wait 10-14 days ,then apply Maxforce Roach Bait Gel in numerous small bait placements in cracks and crevices in cabinets and drawers, also place behind the cabinets, under refrigerators, behind stoves, ovens, and dishwashers.

    • The D-Force HPX Aerosol is intended for an initial knockdown when there is a need to cut out a percentage of the population immediately, the Maxforce Roach Bait Gel is intended to really cut into the population over the following two weeks, with the Gentrol Insect Growth Regulator helping the baiting and breaking into the cycle.

We also carry other insecticides, baits, and dust not listed here

We have combined many of these products inside kits, saving you money.

    You can find this at:
    german roach kit
German Roach Kit(Invict Gold Roach Bait + Gentrol Point Sources)

Aerosol "bombs" such astotal release bombs Evercide Bombs so commonly referred to are actually total release aerosol cans.
They are very popular because they are perhaps the easiest way to kill exposed roaches without much effort, just push the button and leave the premises for a couple of hours.
Unfortunately, "bombs" do not contact many roaches that are well hidden and they have no residual killing power.

Many people like Boric Acid for German roach control. Use it as a supplement to baits or insecticides. It will not work by itself . Always dust in inaccessible places such as under the refrigerator, behind stoves, light switch plates, etc.
